Pollution Monitoring Extended

Levels of Nitrogen Dioxide are already measured at key points along Gascoyne Way.
Special tubes at record levels of the gas, which are above national guidelines. The main source of the pollution is exhaust fumes from cars and other vehicles.
There is no evidence that nitrogen dioxide causes respiratory diseases such as asthma but on days of very high pollution people with existing symptoms might feel worse.
