GTR have said that they will introduce an interim timetable on 15 July. This, allegedly, is one that they say they will be able to run with far fewer issues than the current timetable.
Playing devil's advocate, what if this timetable turns out to be something like a weekend timetable where there are two services per hour throughout the day, including peak times?

My bet is that it will be the old one as that is potentially easier to implement than another new one.

Good news from Mark Prisk. First class has been declassified on all services on the Hertford Loop with immediate effect.*

The response was that it wasn't running today and the service had been taken off the app to avoid confusion.
I ambled down to Hertford North and noticed that the number of people on the platform waiting for the 0844 wasn't particularly large.
Another passenger then replied to my tweet to say that the 0832 had run as timetabled.
GN are now telling us that services have been cancelled when they haven't!

The choice is there - but will you stop extolling the virtues of the HFE line - how on earth will I get the privilege of sitting in a first class seat if the whole of Hertford is using the service

If you're on twitter, can thoroughly recommend following @garius who explains why the problems on the trains have come about. He's written a fantastic explanation on the issue of drivers - employing, training, poaching. One route that has been introduced requires FIVE different drivers at the moment!
My understanding was that it all ultimately goes back to the the introduction of Thameslink services.Thanks for the link.

to be completely fair that disruption was apparently due to a fire a Moorgate and not really related to the poorly managed migration to the new timetable.
Yes, I didn't notice that until a few hours later. Oh well, that on top of everything else made me work from home for the rest of the week
