Re: Is anything happening?
From my lowly position and only looking at the results for Hertford I feel there was a clear statement that the electorate, whilst in the main happy with EHDC, are looking for a Council that is more prepared to challenge central Government on issues such as building on the green belt and laying mor...

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
to be completely fair that disruption was apparently due to a fire a Moorgate and not really related to the poorly managed migration to the new timetable.

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
Just realised that the MOG-HFN trains on the new timetable don’t stop at Bowes Park. There is an HOUR between them. The last one is at 16:40 and then then next one is 17:40. I was advised by station staff to buy a split ticket (and save about £500). This is such a farce. Our train service is awful....

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
So are we to expect that there will be no more failed trains at Drayton Park after these are introduced? Solving that problem should've been at the very top of the train operators requirements for the manufacturer.

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
So not addressing the issue at all. Journey times have not increased on the Hertford loop because timetables have changed to reflect reality, they've increased because they've added more stops to the journeys. It's bare faced cheek that they're not even able to admit that they've altered the service...

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
It seems like the proposed rail replacement between Watton and Stevenage drew attention away from the fact that they were getting rid of all the fastest journeys on the Hertford Loop.

Re: Great Northern-Thameslink Pay As You Go
If I have a season ticket, say Hertford North to London Terminals, on 'The Key' and then one day I travel on a different route, say Hatfield to Kings Cross, using KeyGo will it apply an appropriate Gold Card discount to that fare do you think?

The journey often feels quite long enough if one has stopped for a pint or two after work!!Andrew wrote: high capacity trains for relatively short duration journies.

Re: New trains on Hertford North route announced
I heard that there won't be any toilets and that although there's increased capacity there are actually fewer seats than on the existing trains. I hope that I've been misinformed though.rogerstone wrote:Can't see any mention of toilets but in this day & age there must be onboard facilities, Mustn't there?
