Re: Hertford Mercury website

Re: 550 New Homes Planned for Sele Farm

Re: 550 New Homes Planned for Sele Farm

Which land? Do you know where I can find links to this? Isn't Bengeo to the East of Sele Farm? I don't disagree about the need for new homes but I worry about affordable housing and I really worry about infrastructure. The train lines are creaking and the roads are jammed and other services are str...

550 New Homes Planned for Sele Farm

Following the sudden appearance of the "Save Ware's Green Belt" campaign to stop 1500 new homes being built on Green Belt land north and east of Ware, I wonder how many people are aware of the plans for Sele Farm? In short, The Council's District Plan has recently been subject to an Examin...

Beane Road/North Road cycling proposals

The County Council are conducting a survey on proposals for cycling "improvements" around North, Road, Beane Road and Hartham. Most of the proposals appear to be cosmetic and an excuse for the County Council to claim they are supporting and promoting cycling. It's just an extension of the ...

Bishop's Stortford Independent

Lliffe Media have just launched a new paid-for local newspaper in Bishop's Stortford to rival the Herts & Essex Observer. The Bishop's Stortford Independent is based in premises recently vacated by the Herts & Essex Observer, when they sacked the editor and closed down the office. Ironically...
