Re: Discontinuation of Hertford Stations Anytime Travelcards

my travelcard has gone down in price by 2.40 a week because i have opted not to use the hert nth option, just the hert east.

not complaining, but after this mornings fiasco where the 6:57 was cancelled due to a late running freight train, it's still not a bargain.

Re: Your Favourite Supermarket

can only be Waitrose with M&S a distant second. quality at Tesco and Sainsburys is very low. I'm not saying i don't buy some stuff at Tesco /Sainsburys (milk and some other stanadrds like cornflakes) but not for meat and veg. Sainsbury's is always deathly quiet. next time there is a round of superma...

Re: Flooding last year

i know that being flooded out is not a pleasant thing, but it does make me smile when i see on the news, residents of an affected town (I think it was in Gloucestershire last time) who have been flooded and the roadsign in the background of the news clip has a name like' Riverbank', 'Waterside' or '...

Re: Hertford Mosque Planning Application

the comments have a leftie twang because as with most on the left, anyone who dares criticise multi-culturalism (whether the planning apps are real or imagined) is instantly called prejudiced.... that's what Labour left us with...their poorly thought thru and nasty definitions of what is 'ok to thin...

Re: Hertford Mosque Planning Application

I doubt very much there's been an application. I do however notice a strong socialist twang to this thread. This is very much out if step with Hertfird and its environs. Just because some out there in Hertford object to something, makes them bigots? Or racists? Or both? Hmmm, seems the left has a pr...
