Re: County Council relocation

The midday rule is often not observed these days, even by respectable sites. Re: County Council relocation

Interesting to hear HCC propose moving 1,000 staff to St Albans and, despite it being a news item on this site yesterday, there is still no public announcement on the new site, cost, or justification. I think it was less that 25yrs ago that it saw fit to close and sell sites and consolidate in Hert...

Would be nice to have it grassed over with a few seats and trees. Maybe we could even have some toilets and a bus waiting shelter if we are lucky. Wre...

Sele Neighbourhood Plan

The town council are holding a consultation on the final draft of the Sele Neighbourhood Plan.

I don't think I've seen any publicity around this - no press release from the town council and the information isn't exactly easy to find on their website.

Re: New trains on Hertford North route announced

Two new trains were due to be brought into service on Monday (11 March) but this was pulled on Friday. We've had "Autumn 2018", "early 2019", "soon" when Mark Prisk met GN representatives a couple of weeks ago. All 25 of the new units are now in the UK, sat in sidings ready to be used. The old trai...
