Re: Wallace House Surgery

I signed up online ages ago and to be honest it was useless and didn't ever show appointments, or would only have 1 about a month away, so I've never really used it! Re: Changes to Recycling

The way I read it, plastic packaging such as cartons (ie the bulky stuff) will still go in the blue bin. It's only plastic wrapping, carrier bags, cling film etc that won't, so it sholdn't really make much difference to volume/bulk going in the blue bin.

Re: Why was my post removed?

I think that when you have not yet made 10 postings, anything in the recommendations section needs Admin approval before the post appears (I had the same thing and the posts took a day to appear)

Re: Townsend Arms, Hertford Heath

It was Fluerets originally (I think for about £650,000), but not on their website now. If I remember I'll see who the current agent is when I cycle past tonight.

Re: Townsend Arms, Hertford Heath

Unfortunately it had been through a number of landlords in the last few years and none of them could make it work. With 3 other pubs in the village I can’t see that it will be sold on as a pub (there were rumours in the village late last year that Tesco were looking at the site for a metro style sto...

Re: Photos of Hertford on facebook

The terms of the site do state that for copyright credit should always be given to the source of the photo, but I think unfortunately a lot of people don't read the small print! I agree a great site with lots of old photo's I've not seen before

I agree with Footfruit and McHardy that the quackery of Julia Philpot has served both I, family and friends well over the years and I can highly recommend her.

Re: 16 Jan morning rush hour delays caused by...

I was on the late running 6:12 service this morning and further down the line the driver must have spotted someone sarcastically clapping as he pulled into Palmers Green; he mentioned the clapping and pointed out that the delays were the resulted of over running engineering works and were therefore ...
