We used to live in that part of Bengeo, most of it was built in the 30s when people grew there own veg so they usually have lovely big gardens.KatyBusby wrote:2929paul wrote:
Gem, I love Bengeo and even looked at the unmortgagable Airey house on Glebe Road recently. A lot smaller than the pictures but the garden was amazing!

Re: Hertford Secondary Schools

My bathroom is literally being ripped out today so I can get maximum equity out of this... 'ramshackle' (to pu...

Re: Hertford Primary School
I am not sure how to put this, I have been pondering over what to post for a while. However you have asked for honest opinions and I gave feedback on the secondary schools thread so I felt I should reply to this as well. I know of children that have gone through it and been happy and children that h...

Re: Hertford Secondary Schools
The funny thing is, I'm actually moving away from the direct catchment of a school that is Ofsted-rated "exceptional". That's all well and good apart from the fact that most of the students there take drugs. IMHO the Ofsted reports and league tables do not tell the whole story. Most schools are mad...

On a general note I should say that we are very lucky with the secondary schools we have here, it's more a case of which school would suit your children rather than getting them into a good school, they are all good....
