Re: Todays St. Georges day celebrations
A very enjoyable event - the sort of thing that contributes to Hertford being a great town to live in. I'm not sure what is behind the lack of promotion for such events though - maybe it's not necessary, maybe no funding, but I guess there's a thread on this elsewhere as it's not the first time.

Re: Your Favourite Supermarket
Waitrose every time. I wouldn't shop in Tesco on principle though I and Mrs Ff do pop in there occasionally to use the loos - very handy, thank you Tesco. I have tried Sainsburys but was not impressed with the offering or quality. I do agree with Marilyn though that Waitrose can on the odd occasion ...

Glass/secondary glazing unit disposal

Re: Locksmith
Lock Stock & Barrel fittel a new lock for us and were very obliging and not exorbitant, and you know where they are. Re: Chinese in hertford - Peking house?
Since Wok-U-Like became takeaway only, I'm pretty sure Peking House is the only Chinese restaurant in Hertford so de facto none better. However, they are very, very good in my humble estimation. I don't believe they have an online presence.
