Panshanger Aerodrome
What a shame that Panshanger Aerodrome has now closed for good when nothing will happen there until 2016 at the earliest. Such a lovely spot where it was possible to view plenty of flying and at the same time enjoy the friendly Out Of The Box café. It really will be missed!

After travelling between Ware and Hertford and back yesterday and today, I have seen the resurfacing being carried out. Can anyone tell me with this alleged cost saving method of resurfacing what happens to the vast volume of granite chips that are brushed into the side of the road and then swept up...

Seems to happen all the time with Greater Anglia. If a train is more than a few minutes late, they often skip stations or turn them short of their planned destinations enabling a catch up on timing. Presumably it was meant to show the traditional methods of glassblowing which would be old fashioned. Unfortunately you just cannot please everyone.
