Re: SG13 or SG14
To be honest I don't think there is a major issue. We are spoilt for choice with senior schools who are all very good, sometimes in very different ways and you have a certain amount of luxury in being able to choose. Two of them are single sex schools (one for each) and 3 are mixed so you have a cho...

Re: Police & Crime Commissioner Election 2016
Exactly, people voted Conservative, rather than for the man IMHO. And for no other reason than an election was put in front of them. The establishment of PCCs was entirely political - created by politicians for politicans. This is why I refuse to have any part in the process. I have voted in every ...

Re: Police & Crime Commissioner Election 2016
I am voting because I think it is important to vote. I personally think you lose the right to moan about the result if you do not vote. As for who I will vote for, I have very little idea. I have used the link above (thank you Highwood38 for that) and one candidate is out of the running from reading...

Re: Driveways
We used Jamescape two years ago and are very happy. The work was done to schedule and the team on site were lovely (we had the back garden done too so they were on site for nearly two weeks). I would certainly recommend them. They were about mid range in the quotes we got but we felt it was an hones...

Re: Parking on the pavements
If it is legal to park there, why do commuters park up Bramfield Road and not on North Road? This puzzles me.

Re: Parking on the pavements
Does North Road have any parking restrictions on it? I can never see any and when I see a car parked I wonder if it is legal or not (I walk to station so does not affect me). The school traffic irritates me when they double park and have a chat. I rarely go past at school time as I work full time in...

Re: LED Streetlamps
And aren't they meant to be more energy efficient? Yes, a lot more efficient. The units last a lot longer and are a fraction of the cost to run. Plus, they're very directional which means less light pollution. So does that mean that the street lights are going to be on all night? On the Bramfield R...

Re: LED Streetlamps
But at least they should be more reliable. If you walk up Bramfield Road past the cemetery and next to parkland, there are often street lights out and it makes it very dark and can be a little scary. I would rather have the cold light than no light. And aren't they meant to be more energy efficient?

Awesome. I am particularly interested in the climate control element as this morning the climate was arctic. I could see my breath...
I do admit I am slightly proud that we can currently boast the oldest electric vehicles in mainline Britain.

Re: Motorcycle parking at stations?
Hi Kateg28 and thanks for your reply. Both my wife and I will need to commute into London for work so we're just considering options for getting to and from the station. Ideally, we'd like to find a house within walking distance of Hertford North but I appreciate that these properties are in high d...
