Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
Of course, a "more robust" timetable and shiny new trains will have no effect on days like yesterday when the overhead lines came down (not GN's fault) and you are told to make your own way home. And then this morning you get to Hertford North and no one has a clue what is happening as the informati...

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
Here are the comparisons of the current and proposed timetables between 0600 and 0900 (I believe that these are trains on which peak fares are charged) from Hertford North to Moorgate: Time .....Length_____Time .....Length 05:08 ….. 52 mins_____05:15 ….. 55 mins 05:39 ….. 53 mins_____05:33 ….. 53 mi...

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
Why have you cut two of the five peak time morning trains? I don't see where these trains have been cut. I've compared the current and new timetables and found the following for Hertford North to Moorgate services: Between 6am and 7am Current - 5 trains New - 5 trains Between 7am and 8am Current - ...

Re: Local News Pilot
I've added it to my bookmarks and will check regularly. Best of luck with it.
The Mercury's website now seems to be 80% reporting on accidents on the A1 & M1, 10% reporting on stabbings in Enfield and 10% news on Hertfordshire news.

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
Why aren’t class 717 carriages being used on the loop? They have been advertised, yet in truth we are only getting refurbished 313s. Yours sincerely, Mark Prisk MP Where did this information come from? My understanding is that there are brand new units being manufactured, some of which have already...

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
You won't get a reply from Mark Prisk on twitter, it's all one way traffic. And he seems to have claimed some sort of part in the Stevenage to Hertford North line not closing when it was supposed to, despite it having nothing to do with his actions. He's not a big enough cheese to have any influence.

Re: Great Northern-Thameslink Pay As You Go
Yesterday I did: Hertford North to Alexandra Palace in the morning Finsbury Park to Hertford North in the evening. KeyGo calculated that the cheapest option was a Hertford North to Finsbury Park return at £15.50. I looked at prices for Hertford North to Alexandra Palace return plus a single from Fin...

Re: Great Northern-Thameslink Pay As You Go
I don't travel all the way into London so carnet is not an option for me. I'm giving the KeyGo a go tomorrow so I'll report back on how it went. I have asked a question as to what they would charge me if I travelled from Hertford North to Bowes Park in the morning and then from Kings Cross to Hertfo...

The new timetable actually has one more service between 6.00am and 10.00am than the current timetable.

Great Northern-Thameslink Pay As You Go
Govia have finally got round to adding a pay as you go function to their Key smart card. It's called KeyGo. Very handy if you don't go into London every day.
