Someone to teach me basic welding

Post by mattinhertford » Tue 13 Jan, 2015 1:00 pm

Hi all,

I'm trying to learn how to weld and have been looking at all the usual local colleges but none of them are running welding courses these days, certainly not evening classes. So I'm going to try and teach myself (got an old banger that needs some work!) but wondered if there was anyone in Hertford who felt like giving me some advice/guidance. I'd be prepared to pay for their time, probably manage the basics in a single Sunday afternoon. I'd like to learn gasless MIG welding (that'll mean something to the welders out there!)

I don't have the equipment yet but I'm prepared to invest in some if I can find someone to give me guidance.

Or, if there are local welding courses that I've missed then pls let me know.

Many thanks

Matt

Thanks Hugh, sadly that's a late afternoon slot and I need the lessons to be evenings.

Thanks for searching though, appreciate it.

Matt
