Couple of days ago, I visited the west end of Panshanger. The lorries have gone, and there are new bridlepaths and tracks appearing. But it's a work in progress and hard work without a full suspension, electric mountain bike. And it's not hard to get a bit lost and end up on the wrong side of a fence. The bit that surprised me was the track from Cole Green across the fields to the underpass of the A414.

One bit that is still missing is any kind of public car park at the western end to make the walk to the Great Oak a bit shorter.
