Anyone of a certain age will remember Wishbone Ash and their landmark album Argus (voted "Album Of The Year" in 1972 by Sounds magazine).

The band will be playing at the Corn Exchange in the Spring. The only original member in the current lineup is Andy Powell but it should still be an interesting gig.

...Actually, it's "the other" Wishbone Ash - headed up by the lead singer and bass player, Martin Turner. Andy Powell has in fact taken legal action to stop Martin using the band name Wishbone Ash (despite Martin being the founding member) - so it's "Martin Turner plays the music of Wishbone Ash".

However, we've seen Martin's incarnation several times, and they are superb - well worth going along to.

Yes, the billing has changed since it was originally advertised last year.
