One Delivery

Post by Razor » Wed 25 Nov, 2015 11:05 pm

We had a flyer through the door for this service. Seems they deliver McDonald's, kfc etc for £3.95. Not sure about McDonald's but might be handy for kfc on occasion to save driving to welwyn or Hatfield. Has anyone used it?

I was just interested about what appeared to me to be a new take away service so the sarcastic reply really wasn't necessary. For your info we cook from fresh ingredients most nights, maybe once every couple of months we might get fish and chips and every blue moon I might get a Kfc. It's not cheap but my first thoughts were that if you don't drive or have had a drink etc then it might be handy. Anyway, I may never use it and wish I hadn't posted now!

Razor, I thought it was interesting. I cook most nights with fresh ingredients (I don't even use Dolmio type sauces) but, working full time and having a hungry teenager, sometimes I cave and use a takeaway service.

I love Galos with their approach to the food but not the cheapest and it is always interesting to hear of other options.

Also good to know people are getting off their sofas and starting a new business, franchise or not, better than not working at all. Good luck to them.

A bit late to comment on this but for what it's worth, if you want fried chicken Huckleberry in Ware will deliver it to your door in a highly branded smart car. I mention this because I recently discovered none of my neighbours knew about them.

It's not KFC but as close as you'll get round here (yes, I too have made the pilgrimage to KFC WGC on a number of occasions).
