Market fruit and veg stall.

Totally underwhelmed by the quality of the produce: elderly mushrooms, really squidgy beef tomatoes, grotty spring onions. Looks good when standing at the front of the stall, very dissapointing when you get it home. Back to Sainsbury where I squeeze everything before I make my choices.

That's a shame. Quality of produce has normally been good for me. Hopefully it's a temporary aberration ...

I get a lot of my veg from them and mostly been OK. I think it's best to go on Saturdays, they seem to have far less stock during the week and generally older/tired looking.
