I missed it again.....
I didn't check Hertford Online on Saturday. How annoying.
Did my friend attend? I saw her on Friday night but it didn't come up in conversation.

What a wonderful and fascinating exhibition about Bengeo and all the street names, information on schools of the time and most important so many people seemed to be able to spot their relatives from days gone by. I understand next year it will be about all the local community Groups (ie Bengeo Club, Guides/Brownies etc, etc....) thank you Marilyn and for all your hard work mum and I loved it !

Thank you DQ! nice to see you and your Mum. Yes next years will have a different focus though everything from this year will be available for anyone who has missed it.
Sorry Kate we tried to do as much publicity as we could. No idea if your friend attended but it was very busy again. There is a short video of the first exhibition here.

Marilyn
A fantastic show, as ever. Although the venue wasn't quite so historically significant it was nice to have a bit more room to move around in.
Will any of your material be available on line? At, say http://www.hertfordwarehistory.org.uk/" target="_blank, http://www.hertford.net/history/history.asp" target="_blank or http://www.ourhertfordandware.org.uk/ca ... d__14.aspx" target="_blank?
All the best

Thank you higwayman some of it will go on Our Hertford and Ware at some point just got to find time to sort it and upload it! Not sure about the History society I will have to see what they want.
Lots of people came who did not come in May for various reasons and it was easier for people who can't walk well as the parking is closer and the floor smoother.
There is talk of a book but that is a way off yet!
Now working on next years, lots of new info coming forward, watch this space................
