Good news from Mark Prisk. First class has been declassified on all services on the Hertford Loop with immediate effect.*

GTR have said that they will introduce an interim timetable on 15 July. This, allegedly, is one that they say they will be able to run with far fewer issues than the current timetable.

Playing devil's advocate, what if this timetable turns out to be something like a weekend timetable where there are two services per hour throughout the day, including peak times?

Not satisfied with cancelling services running them late and generally not having a clue what is going on, now they're sending them off earlier than timetabled!

Or, maybe it is a very familiar timetable, the one that disappeared in May. At least they kinda know it.

My bet is that it will be the old one as that is potentially easier to implement than another new one.

The interim timetable has now been published. Trains on the Hertford Loop appear unaffected. Nothing leaving Hertford North towards London between 0600 and 0900 has been changed.

Friday was awful. Person on the wires at Kings Cross, failed train at Moorgate and so I switched to Liverpool St and then that went down with signal failures. Both lines went down.

Not a fun time had by anyone
