December gigs of note at Hertford Corn Exchange are:

Fri 13 Dec - Absolute Bowie - a welcome return to a great Bowie tribute.

Fri 20 Dec - Neville Staple - am original member of The Specials, expect to hear Specials hits and ska classics from Neville and his band. Support from the excellent Zipheads.

Mr G is going with our daughter to see Absolute Bowie, she loves David Bowie and it's the closest she will probably ever get to seeing the real thing :)

When he went to get tickets they said they were going fast

Tickets can be bought from SeeTickets here, though there's a booking fee. Let's you see prices for all up & coming headline events.

If you buy direct from the venue, you avoid the booking fee. I believe you can also buy from Hertford Tourist Office with a much lower booking fee than SeeTickets.

A shame - I believe there were still tickets available on the door, though it was a good size crowd.

A great night, as ever, with all the hits. I hear that the band are likely to be back again in 2014 - you can always catch them then!

Cracking 80`s disco at the Corn Exchange last night. Good to see a few old faces from the past :D .

Last nights DJ was top quality mixing in the tracks expertly. Best DJ so far at the 80`s night.

Next one 15th Feb

So, coming up over the next few weeks:

Sat 25 Feb - Radio Clash - Clash tribute, with support from The Blissetts

Sun 2 Feb - Jefferson Starship - featuring original Jefferson Airplane founders Paul Kantner & Marty Balin

Thu 20 Feb - Limehouse Lizzy - don't think there's a better Thin Lizzy tribute around, passionate about keeping the legend alive. Video from a previous visit here.

Sat 22 Feb - Larry Miller - a welcome return to a great blues guitarist, with a sense of humour too. Video from a previous visit here.

Fri 28 Feb - Slowhand - A Tribute to Eric Clapton
