On the first Saturday of each month, The Andrews Room at Hertford Museum will be open for families to enjoy a free play session. Come along and play with traditional wooden toys, make something crafty and read a book. Whilst you are here why not use the discovery station toys to explore the galleries too?

Tuesday 7 March Nightly performances for 5 nights, plus a Saturday matinee

Event:Chess the Musical by Ware Operatic
Details: Join the award winning cast of Ware Operatic as they perform the legendary musical, Chess.

Featuring the iconic songs 'I Know Him So Well', 'Someone Else's Story' and 'One Night in Bangkok'.

Who are the pawns and who are the players? Lovers, politicians, and spies all play their part in this story of passion and betrayal set amidst a backdrop of the Cold War. The volatile American, the troubled Russian, and the vivacious Hungarian; when human lives are just pieces on a political chess board, can anybody truly win?

Performances 7:30pm nightly, with a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday 11th.
