Bircherley Green Shopping Centre

Bircherley Green shopping centre was built in 1983 on the site of the old bus station and is home to Waitrose, Boots and New Look. A century ago the site was known as Butcherley Green and housed the town's poorest residents prior to the slum clearance of the early 20th century that made way for the original bus station and car park.

Other shops in Bircherley Green include Holland and Barratt, W.H.Smith, Methven's bookshop, Claire's Accessories, Specsavers and the popular Serendipity delicatessen and coffee shop.
