l mean anyone opening any type of business be it hair salons, coffee shops, delis or whatever. l would have thought that a diversity of shops would be more appealing. 
Apologies, I thought you meant this specific venture.It certainly does appear that a lot of retail businesses open without a proper business plan or any research. I spoke to one new business owner recently who didn't know what a USP was.
