Re: Michael Cakebread: Serial Absconder
Might have been him the previous week. In an incident I’ve not seen reported anywhere police were all over Abel Smith school on Wednesday 13th. The school was locked down while they tried to apprehend a bloke who had climbed up on the roof in an attempt to evade capture.

Re: Enterprise Car Rental Closing
Why is the link between the Caxton Hill industrial estate and the Foxholes industrial estate closed off? It always has been. Both estates are privately owned and I think there were probably issues with the link being used as a shortcut between Ware Road and the A414 - avoiding the Mill Road lights ...

Re: Proposed signs "celebrating Richard Hale school" at Hetford East
I'm struggling to see the racism ? Am I so institutionally racist that I can't even see it ? Me too tbh. Presumably the image apparently causing offence is supposed to be one of the Kgnights Templar? Or they weren’t quick enough to get a picture of the statue on Elbert’s wall before demolition and ...

Snow Joke
Is it me or was there a conspicuous lack of road gritting last night? - given that the snow had been forecast for a few days. The chaos up the hill of London Rd this morning was something to behold. It also shows clearly that a large number of drivers have absolutely NO clue how to drive in snow. Wa...
