I tried to buy accessories there, when they were in stock - cables, cleaning cloths and lens caps (too many lens caps lost!).
If not in stock or I need Nikon gear I go to Digital Depot in Stevenage old town. A very good place to get camera gear.

Charity shop - 5/1
Sweet shop - 8/1
Something unusual 10/1
Something useful 25/1
Nando's 50/1
Petrol station 100/1

Re: Welcome To The New Forum
It seems quite patchy, I don't blame admins!

Re: Welcome To The New Forum
After a settling in period, I don't like the new forum.
It is slow. Even with a 2point something meg download speed it takes ages to load anything.
It takes more clicks than the old site to read new posts.
And having to get to ten again, well ok, if I must.

Also had no wait at all when I had my shoulder Ultra-Sound investigation.
Waiting is not too bad, paying £3:20 for half an hours parking, that hurts.

Re: Glassblowing open day - Rothschild & Bickers
It was cheap, I was surprised to see how much the 'real' thing goes for on the website. Not sure why mine is a second, I can't see any blemishes in the glass, but I am not an expert. It must be a slightly too big or small version, or one with a slight difference in the colour of glass. It looks fant...

I was most surprised to find the light I paid less than £50 for was over £200 on their website.
