It now says £8.20 for HFN to MOG, and early April start date.
I wonder if they will cut the price of a season ticket from HFN to the same level as HFE. Currently it is £150 cheaper from HFE...

Re: Hertford gasworks
It's good to hear they are making provision for car club spaces. Two spaces for 400 houses/flats will no doubt slash the potential congestion...

Re: Hertford gasworks
It says they've now submitted their planning application, but I can't see anything on East Herts website. https://www.hertfordgasworks.co.uk/background/ Their response to feedback so far is interesting. They talk about widening Marshgate drive, but not much about the fact the overall access issues w...

I've noticed the same thing. Will also report it. It's definitely got worse in last couple of months...

Hertford gasworks
Got through a flyer in the post today about a public consultation on proposals for a new mixed use development at the former Hertford Gasworks (or HERT 2 in the district plan). It's Sat 23rd June from 10am till 3pm at the Mill Bridge Rooms. Apologies for quality but quick photo attached...

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
I see tomorrow morning's 744 is showing as cancelled which means there is a 30 minute gap for trains between 732 and 802. At least this is forcing me to get in the habit of checking which service will be randomly cancelled...

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
According to this morning's Times, they may hive off great Northern into the new East Coast mainline service they have just created (LNER) in 2021. I wonder how many more "improvements" GTR can implement before then....

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
And speaking of the new trains, here they are apparently:

Just to be clear, I'm not a subscriber but it seems Google knows how interested I am in great Northern...

Re: Great Northern-Thameslink Pay As You Go
I'm cancelling my key go as it causes problems all the time with incomplete journeys. I swipe in and out as required but the other day the barriers at hfn were all turned off, other times there are problems with them. Also it's trying to charge me for changing routes on Tuesday when the whole line w...

Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
I think the more robust timetable is separate from the "non fast" issue. I think the addition of a minute here, a minute there to make the timetable more robust makes sense in theory but they've already been doing that for the past few years and I think most of the delays on the line seem to be caus...
