Re: Nice and warm.
I smiled when I first read these comments as I rarely use the station but I did this morning and there they were, 3 of them, chatting away and having a right old laugh, sipping their tea and basically getting paid to do nothing. There must be a reason they are there, seriously, what is it? Security?...

Re: Hertford Parkrun - Starts 11th Oct
I've done park runs in Norwich and Bristol and I have no idea whether there were any loos so I'm not sure what the point of me posting is apart from to say I'm very pleased to see this is starting in my town. I'm a bit apprehensive about the mud, though.

I would not recommend Chris. Requires constant chasing to get anything done.

Re: Waters Garage
They were offering car washes 'from £5' today and have taken down the posts so cars can access the site from the A414 as well as St Andrew Street.

Re: Hertford's lovely walks and...
I must admit, if I'm coming back the same way on a dog walk, I'll often leave the poop (scooped and bagged) by the side of the path and pick it up on the way back. Re: Established Members Only
So, Admin, have you lost interest in the daft '10 posts' rule? Only, I notice that both the people who most recently posted warm recommendations in the thread about Dil's curry house have made only one post each, and their recommendations are allowed to stand.

Re: Sink Holes
Sele Farm's got form for this sort of thing, hasn't it. The Bentley Road sinkhole apparently swallowed a whole lorry in the 1950s.

Re: Sunday Xmas shopping event
Look what they're saying about this over on WareOnline! "Just to underline the fantastic success of [Ware's] Dickensian evening [on Friday], we went to Hertford [Sunday] lunchtime which was allegedly hosting a Christmas Shopping Festival. The place was deserted. Darkmark was there with his young Bro...

Yes, we need more people to post otherwise the 'recommendations' will be populated entirely by gobsh1tes with nothing better to do than lurk on the boards night and day to rack up their 10 posts and... er... *notices post count and sidles away*

Re: Evron Wharf
That picture baffles me, I can't work out where it will be. Is this the place they're working on right now next to the towpath which will offer stunning views across the river to a load of light industrial units?
