Re: 16 Jan morning rush hour delays caused by...
todays excuses were indeed baffling. Just seemed to be a variety of ways to blame network rail ( who to be fair are under-performing appallingly right now ) there is a depot at WGC i wonder do trains come out of there, go to stevenage then back down the loop? Probably not, but that could explain it....

Hertford Tech Meetup - Jan 2014
Hi, the next Hertford tech meetup will be next Thursday 23rd Jan at the white horse. 8pm as usual.
There'll even be a candidate for the by-election there so you can bet the conversation will turn political at some point!

Re: Waitrose rumour
if they did build a concession at VH, why would they close the hertford one? They're far enough apart to attract different people are they not?
If they were clever they could even see about advertising he VH one from the A10 and try and capture some of the A10 "services" traffic

Re: Should development be allowed on Green Belt land?

Re: Bengeo Byelection
Andrew - what is the point of ANY political party for a town council election?
Nothing the town council does is party political.
Its all a farce.
(oops, rant over, apologies..)

agreed; A candidate in the local bengeo elections also mentioned exactly the same! If a local political type can't get it, then how about the rest of us!

Replacing seal on UPVC door
Hi, seems this is a possible diy job, not sure, but who would one call to get a seal replaced?
Presumably not an actual UPVC window company as they'll just sell a replacement door General handyman?
