Re: New timetable from Hertford North - May 2018
Are they all slow stopping services now? They all seem 51/52 minutes. I sometimes get the 6.45 and sometimes the 6.57 but the difference between the time it takes is noticeable as the 6.57 stops at every station (and sometimes makes up a few new ones :D ) whereas these are all similar times. Re: Transforming Rail consultation (Hertford North)
That's a massive issue and a further example of how users of the Hertford loop pay the price for improvements to services on the main line.

As someone who regularly drags themselves out of bed in time to catch the 06:24, those few extra minutes seem particularly precious!highwood38 wrote:I never thought I would care about a minute here and there but when it's twice a day, five days a week it starts to add up!

Re: Transforming Rail consultation (Hertford North)
I guess it depends when you're travelling. As far as I can see all but one of the existing fastest journeys departing Hertford North between 6am and 8:30am will have increased journey times on the new timetable. Re: The Key at Herford North
I went to renew my season ticket at Hertford North yesterday. The assistant at the ticket office on this occasion advised me that I'd need to have it as a paper ticket if I wanted to use it to travel Hertford East and London. I wonder whether GTR will ever provide clear and consistent information on...

Re: The End of Pay & Display
What a wasted opportunity. Why couldn't they have introduced a proper ANPR system like in WGC?

Re: GA Season Ticket woes
A couple of years ago I lost a season ticket (for the Hertford North line under FCC), which I'd bought online and had loads of trouble getting a replacement season ticket. In the end it got sorted out only when I emailed the Chief Exec of FCC directly, it then got sorted pretty quickly.
