Storms this week - Greater Anglia kept moving
I was actually surprised following the thunder and lightning on Tuesday evening that the trains from Hertford East were not disrupted at all. No floods, no lightning strikes, and I got to work on time. I will have to remember that next time I am turfed off at Broxbourne with no notice!

I am interested to know what retail outlet will go on the ground floor. When the new flats opened on Claude Hamilton Way I was hoping for a coffee shop near the train station, but that turned into a hairdressers. Will miss the Oak Room as it is great in there around Christmas and Easter, and you can pick up some really unusual gifts in there. That's a shame. Think they have been here a couple of years?
