Re: Bengeo Gravel Extraction
no. It's west of the 414 and south of the b195. also ex quarried land, legally i guess. where the tip is essentially. Ah, Birchall Garden Suburb - 2550 homes south east of WGC (link: http://www.tarmac.com/birchall-garden-suburb). Not exactly between Hertford and WGC to my mind, but that's probably ...

Re: Bengeo Gravel Extraction
isn't the development being planned in between welwyn and hertford green belt? And that one is huge. I'm not sure that green belt counts for much any more. Re: Bircherley Green
Have we any further information on what is happening to Bircherly Green? Last rumour I heard was that there is now no longer going to be an hotel, but rumour does not say what will be in it’s place. Also I have wondered why they closed the multi story car park so promptly when I think it is still t...

The midday rule is often not observed these days, even by respectable sites. Re: County Council relocation
Interesting to hear HCC propose moving 1,000 staff to St Albans and, despite it being a news item on this site yesterday, there is still no public announcement on the new site, cost, or justification. I think it was less that 25yrs ago that it saw fit to close and sell sites and consolidate in Hert...
