I've just seen this http://www.hertfordheath.com/wp-content ... Course.pdf" target="_blank
Looks like initial refusal of the revised plans, mainly due to the proposed landraising

Re: WAR at Hartham - 14th September
It was a great event which was very well organised; however I didn't realise we would spend so much time tackling obstacles/running through the rivers..
Even though evry muscle in my body is aching this morning, I hope it's something they do at Hartham again!

Details of entries are here http://www.warrioradrenalinerace.co.uk/ ... formation/" target="_blank
I hear a lot of the obstacles are up over the meads and Hartham, but I've not hda a chance to see for myself
Not sure if I'm looking forward to it now!

Re: St Andrew Street Closed
Dutch Knight, yes you can drive down there for access and still get into St Andrews St car park. The road is closed just past the doctors coming from North Road end

Re: Hertford Heath Golf Course
I would have thought that the provision of more detail on the planning documents and a presentation open to villagers last week would constitute “firmer plans”. Apologies if this does not meet your definition Steve

Hertford Heath Golf Course
After many years in development (with only a couple of buildings and access road being constructed), it looks like firmer plans are now in place. I missed the exhibition at the village hall but found all the planning information via the following link http://online.eastherts.gov.uk/rkyvportal/index....

Sounds good I think I'll be talked into it, if only to give the wife and kids something to laugh at!

Re: WAR at Hatham - 14th September
I've just told a friend and been told we must enter I may be used to running 10k but not too sure about the rest of it (my beer belly can cope with a run but obstacles is another matter!) How did you find it last year City Fella and is there a great need for any training other than running?

For those of you who think you're fit enough!

I am told up to 5000 people may visit as it is a national event, not sure how true that is though.
Proper boot camp stuff involving military type physical training.

Re: Wallace House Surgery
I work in London as well, so it was a pain registering. I just completed the form in advance and handed it in when I had an appointment; as I mentioned the ability to register has been up and running for about a year
