Re: Established Only Members
I had 300 plus on the old forum. I have to do another ten now before I can comment?
Re: Established Only Members
Yes, I'm afraid you will have to accumulate 10 genuine posts.2929paul wrote:I had 300 plus on the old forum. I have to do another ten now before I can comment?

I think I can see a snag here Admin. No one can actually post anything of substance until we post unassuming b*****ks for the rest of the week...

....and the difference would be? Sorry - uncalled for I know but I'm busy accumulating 10 posts so I can continue not recommending things
Re: Established Only Members
Serious point here. There is no right of reply for business owners unless they are established members with 10 posts. Some members appreciate it if the posts are answered by the proprietor. Any thoughts?
Re: Established Only Members
It's only recommendations by new members that are not allowed. A proprietor's response is not a recommendation. The same applies to asking for recommendations. However, I appreciate that the mechanisms currently in place may need review. Thank you for your input.2929paul wrote:Serious point here. Admin - I thought you said in answer to my previous post in another thread that I was unable to make a post asking for a recommendation? Certainly it seems that way as I cannot see the "new topic" option?admin wrote:It's only recommendations by new members that are not allowed. A proprietor's response is not a recommendation. Sorry, Im sure it wasn't there before but I can now see the "new topic" option so looks like I can post asking for recommendations. Just might not be able to get many responses for a while!

As the new forum beds in and we receive feedback, you may find that things get tweaked here and thereRazor wrote:Sorry, Im sure it wasn't there before but I can now see the "new topic" option so looks like I can post asking for recommendations.
