Looks to have reopened tonight (Saturday 27/10/2018). Quite a few folks in there as I strolled by.
I really hope the next tenant has been given a fighting chance. Odds are massively against unfortunately. How did such a beautiful, happy, friendly pub become a financial charnel house? It really is disgraceful how people are sucked into the mincer here.
At least they now have Dark Star beers to sell alongside Gales and the mediocre fare that Fullers serve up.
I'll qualify that... ESB is ok. Chiswick is brown, flavourless water - I didn't stock it once in the 15 months I was there. Pride is overrated in my opinion, for a good mainstream bitter TT Landlord every time. Each to their own. The seasonals are ok, think they finally woke up to the fact that they were way,way behind the times, as were Youngs, with their offering. Now they have Dark Star on board, there probably isn't any reason to drink Fullers' own fare, if we're allowed.
