Where Did everybody go??

Is it just me, or has the number of active threads dropped massively since the switch to the new forum? I'll admit that I don't visit anywhere near as much as I used to, but then I live in Cuffley now

However, I had over a 1000 posts on the last forum but there just doesn't seem to be enough activity on here anymore to warrant posting.
Maybe Hertford needs a few more coffee shops, estate agents and nail bars to get the conversational juices flowing!!

....and not a single thread blocked for descending into abuse and recrimination.
You're right it needs some help to get to where it was. I suspect many of the historical (and hysterical) contributors are off tweeting or similar?

Guilty, I spend more time on facebook and lurking around the group "photos of Hertford and Ware" than here. Main reason is that I have FB on my smart phone so on it more than on the pc.

I think Hertford should have a gay bar.

A smart phone friendly app would help, given that people are spending more time on these and less time on conventional PC's.
How about it admin?

Also guilty of being on the facebook site as you can post pictures so easily and they start some good discussions. Still not sorted out how to post pictures on here............also I think the fact you had to re register and your posts etc were not transferred, people didn't bother, they just moved somewhere else.

Oh, we had much more 'lively debate' back in the day on the old forum

I am not on the Hertford facebook site. I dislike facebook and resent the fact that I may post on one group and everyone I know can see it. I am a memberof a couple of closed groups on FB for cars as it is handy for that but I rarely post.
