A laugh amongst the deluge

Post by carlos fandango » Fri 07 Feb, 2014 11:01 am

I should like to thank the driver of the BMW who seemed to think that going through the flood at Hertford North as fast as he could was a good idea. My how we laughed when he conked out half way through.

Best laugh I've had for ages

Good luck to all the more careful/considerate drivers out there.

:D Priceless! Wish you could have done that for me as I tried to drive through a huge swathe of water past Chapmore End approaching the Tonwell roundabout and some D***Khead in white van thinks its funny to drive through deep water, on your side of the road, very fast causing so much tide I thought I was in the sea .. or going to flood my engine... the flooding around Hertford and the A602 to Stevenage and around Ware is really bad and I am not looking forward to the next storm. but your post this morning brought a lovely smile to my face.. remembering my commuting days... there is a God in the world then!!!!

If it is a diesel, he may well have destroyed his engine and serves him right. Driving with courtesy usually pays dividends.

Both our cars are diesels (and one is a BMW  ) and driving fast through floods is seriously bad idea for the car let alone extremely rude.
