Refurbished building in Fore Street
I notice a change of use for this recently revamped building near Loch Fyne, for a restaurant use. Which franchise will go in there?

I thought Mr Edwards was refurbishing it for offices.

The application relates to the cellar only and would be for internal use.

Whatever goes in there I think they've done a great job with the refurb.

With regards to the building that used to be Breeze & Wyles. It is now on the market for leasing. I must admit now that the hoarding has been removed it shows a very imposing building which has had a lot of work done on it. For those of you worried about an other restaurant in Hertford worry no more. According to the letting agents Anthony Lettings the building is a stunning 5 star office accommodation with suites.

There is the story of the guy "oop north" who, having been refused change of use to open a restaurant in what was offices would "rent out" meeting "tables" in his "conference centre" for two or so hours and provide free "refreshments" from what looked remarkably like a menu. You also got a small A6 pad and pencil for "notes".
I'm not sure he got away with it for too long - but it was a nice try.

According to the web site 'Townhouse' desks can be hired out from £399 per month, it could be a long wait for your meal if it turns out to be a restaurant
