I noticed today one of the swans was investigating the nest site. Hope they have a more successful year than last year.

Yes, I noticed a couple of days ago that the nest was being rebuilt. One of them was collecting twigs and stalks on the riverbank (whilst the other was opposite The Barge accepting gifts of bread from landlubbers!)

There's also a nest on Hartham Park, and one down on the meads

4 signets today by the Sainsbury bridge so they have done better than last year, lets hope they can keep them.

I've not managed to spot them yet, despite walking the long way to Sainsbury's!
How are they doing?

Glad to hear it! I keep missing them. I got some nice photos of a harassed duck with her ducklings the other day. I swear I counted 8. One was having a go at a passing adult... Brave little thing! :D
