Snow Joke

Is it me or was there a conspicuous lack of road gritting last night? - given that the snow had been forecast for a few days. The chaos up the hill of London Rd this morning was something to behold.

It also shows clearly that a large number of drivers have absolutely NO clue how to drive in snow. Watching the fool in the BMW with RWD who decided to employ warp drive and floored it, only to run out of steam half way up and then sliding back down into the path of other vehicles was a particular high point.

Gritter was round out road every 3 hours last night. But grit will not work without grinding in. And most sensible folks stayed put. Made a few snowmen tho!
