This year's Hertford Theatre Week has been won by Southend's Pier Players with their production of Home by David Storey. Runners-Up were Hertford Dramatic and Operatic Society with Ghosts, whilst The Company Of Players took the Audience Appreciation Award with their production of The Memory Of Water by Shelagh Stephenson.

This year's Hertford Theatre Week took place between Monday 22nd and Saturday 27th April 2002, with four local theatre companies taking part.

The Memory Of Water by Shelagh Stephenson
presented by The Company Of Players, Hertford.

Friday 26th April 2002
Passion Play by Peter Nichols
presented by The Swan Theatre Company, Bedford.

Saturday 27th April 2002
Bouncers by John Godber
presented by East Herts Operatic Society, Broxbourne.
