An 80-year old woman has been rescued by emergency services after falling in to the river near Old Cross.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 12:25pm, with ten vehicles attending, including a fire tender, rescue vehicle, ambulances, police and helicopter.
The woman was lifted from the water and treated by paramedics at the scene.
Update 17:14: We are awaiting clarification from police on their initial report that the casualty was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
