Alice Roberts to appear at theatre

Popular TV historian and anthropologist Alice Roberts is coming to Hertford Theatre later in the month to share her experiences exploring Britain's past.

Alice is currently touring her show An Evening with Alice Roberts: Digging into Britain’s Past and will be in Hertford on Tuesday 22nd October 2019.

Ms Roberts has been exploring the country's past and making archaeology programmes for nearly twenty years, originally joining Channel 4's Time Team as a bone expert. Shre has since presented anthropology and archaeology stories on BBC2’s Coast series as well as presenting seven series of Digging for Britain on BBC4.

As an author, Alice Roberts has written eight popular science and archaeology books, including The Celts and Tamed: Ten species that changed our world.

In her stage show, Alice shares insights, anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories from her personal journey to explore Britain’s past, with footage from her programmes and excerpts from her books.

An Evening with Alice Roberts: Digging into Britain’s Past is at Hertford Theatre on Tuesday 22nd October at 7:45pm and tickets cost £23, available from the Hertford Theatre box office.
