Sele School has written to parents and carers to advise that they're lookin into joining the Diocese of St.Albans Multi-Academy Trust.
A letter from Chair of Govenors, Julia Batson, says: "As a small school we have strived to provide a high quality of education, underpinn ed by a broad curriculum. To maintain this provision, Govenors believe that it is now necessary to consider becoming a part of a collaborative and supportive network of schools.
"If we decide to joing the trust, we will ... remain a non-faith school and our ethos and values will be preserved."
The trust operates a number of schools, including Totternhoe Academy in Dunstable, Roxton Academy in Bedford and Churchfield Academy in Waltham Cross. DSAMAT is an inclusive Trust and would like a third of its schools to be non-faith.
