Anyone eaten there recently. Apparently the food is homecooked and good. I understand that she has cooked in a few Town Pubs. any views welcome. Never venture that far normally!

Cant comment on food but went in there bout 8 weeks ago 4 drink. Had very interesting conversations with all the travellers drinking in there!!

The Travellers enjoy the home cooked food ,as do the locals. All happy together... No parking problem down here.

Horns Mill is south-west of the town centre. Take Pegs Lane past County Hall and down Bullocks Lane to West Street and turn left at the mini-roundabout at the bottom. The Harts Horns is just before the viaduct opposite the former council estate known as Horns Mill. You could say that Cecil Road has a "reputation".

Nothing wrong with the Harts Horns, if you popped in I think you would be pleasantry surprised. The pub is very well furnished, good food, friendly locals, lovely Riverside garden,inside the pub it is airy and spacious for non smokers aswell. The Deputy Mayor is a regular in there and I have never witnessed any trouble. Ok, the travellers from Hatfield (English) do use the place occasionally but they have been no problems, infact I have not heard of any visiting the pub in a long time now. As for Cecil Road having a reputation, well that was many years ago. I believe that there is a lot of settled Families living there now, the scum have moved out. There is lots of houses that have been bought, not that I am being suggestive towards tenants. [:D][;)] Oh, and it has plenty of Parking spaces it has a large car park you dont end up falling out with the residents of the area.[:p]

But Cecil Road does have a reputation, as does Pinehurst and Sele Farm. That doesn't necessarily mean that its correct, its just a reputation

This reputation is carried on by word of mouth and should stop as there are families living very happy and with out problems on hornsmill (and on pinehurst and sele farm included). Your comments make this web site feel like it should be called bengeo online! sorry but you are out of order!

I thought this website was about expressing opinions? Everyone is allowed their own opinion, as you have done with obvious prejudice against Bengeo (and no I don't live there before you start piping up!).

The great thing about a website like this is that you can read everyone's opinions at your leisure; good and bad alike. I don't think there is any need for anyone to get too hot under the collar if their hobby/pub/street/area is slagged off; simply offer a glowing review in contrast. If anyone oversteps accepted boundaries of criticism ADMIN will sort it out, will he not?

Actually, I made a mistake. My Car is 4x4 but just not a jeep style 4x4 and I have a drive.

Not my pub Tigger, use it occasionally, I was referring to areas where people live, (slagging off) the discussion went from the Harts Horns to Cecil Road and no I do not live there either, plenty of other comments, have a look around at my posts please, and then make another comment, I am a new member, so don't expect a lot YET...Yes agreed banter.. I was only answering to the posting at the beginning of this thread and giving my opinion.I have started a new post in the community forum, AREA'S WHERE PEOPLE LIVE IN HERTFORD.Cheers for now.
