LARGE EMPTY BUILDING OPPOSITE GLASS HOUSE CAFE
I have just moved to the area and wondered if anyone knows what's happening to the building, that has been boarded up for months. It's on the sames side as Zero Bar and opposite the Glass House Cafe. It's such a pretty building.
Sorry if this has been covered in the passed, I have been searching for the forum. [:X]
Any info will help and satisfy my enquiry!

If you mean the "Workingmens Unionist Club" building then that is owned by Wetherspoons (the pub people) and it is rumoured to be opening soon (within the nex 10 years) as a lloyds No.1 cafe bar - or maybe a JD Wetherspoon Free House

it's in the (long, drawn-out process) of being converted to a Wetherspoon's Lloyds #1 bare to be called The Five Druids. Supposedly opening Feb 2007. But the it's supposed to have been open initially in Oct 2003, so don't hold your breath. It's covered in the BARS & PUBS section
