Has anyone been to Jade's salon? I went over the weekend as i got a voucher as a present for a full body aromatherapy massage, meant to last one hour. I wasn't overly impressed. The massage started 10 mins late and she gave me 10 mins at the end to "rest" meaning the massage only lasted 40 mins. The girl must have had a cold, but instead of blowing her nose sniffed the entire way through the massage - not the most relaxing experience! Also, i've never heard of a full body massage where you don't get a neck and shoulder massage included.. very strange. Me thinks they are trading off Jade's name, rather than being a good salon. I won't be returning..[:(][:(]

you should have complained - I don't see the point in complaining on here but not to them also? [:)] I agree a full body massage usually does include neck & shoulders. BTW did anybody see that Channel 4 yet again put Hertford in the 'Essex' bracket on the 'Chantelle' program recently?! I did send in a complaint [}:)]

That's the second time that's happened (that I'm aware of). Given these programmes are probably being made in London, you'd have thought that someone involved in their making might have been aware of the large county directly to their north!

A friend of mine went into Jades Salon for a manicure on Saturday morning. Not overly impressed! She said they were all very young and spent the whole time chatting to each other about what they had been up to on Friday night. I was disappointed as I had bought her the voucher as a special treat.[:(]

How funny 'BengeoBabe' we must of had the same girl massage us! Does her name begin with a G......? It really annoyed me too,as thats all i could hear! I have been a few times for different treatments, and i can recommend the body contour wrap... but mostly i used to visit there to try and get a look at Jade's Ex 'Jeff!' (shhhh don't tell my Dp!) Oh well, now that they've split again, i won't be needing to return! x

The reason i didn't complain there and then is because there was quite evidently no management present on the day, and there would have been no point complaining to pre-pubescent hungover girls. i figured that letting others know my experiences would be a better use of my time.

If you want good massage, I recommend Anna Kaminski who operates from Belles and Sheares in St. Andrew's St. She is very good, very professional and in my opinion the best, very good value for money.
