You need to change the window title for the site, and obviously you've not been able to get all the local restaurants on board (yet), but it looks very promising. We've often been stuck with using the same places because when we've decided to get a takeaway/delivery we haven't got any other menus so as long as they're kept up to date (would be difficult with someone like Dominos I reckon) we'd use the site lots.

Mostly.The target customer is the takeaway restaurant owner that will deliver. If a restaurant wants to join then they are more than welcome...

what would be really great is if you could place an order online... could order during the day to be delivered at a specific time slot later that evening..

Online ordering was seriously considered, but we chose not to for a number of reasons. Simplicity is the key IMO. Thanks for the suggestion anyway

Farrowandfarrow / Bengeobabe.. The logistics behind getting all takeaways set up with an internet connection would be a nightmare. It has taken a lot of work just to get the takeaways on there for free.. I have experienced some hostile behaviour at a couple of places..... [V]

I'm not sure if Farrow & Farrow would ever stock these as they're more of a supermarket item, but you can get them at Sainsburys. They're called Party Bites Breaded Jalapeno Peppers priced at £2.99 for a 240g pack.

Excellent idea mate! A great way to browse menus from your own home. Especially good for people who have not yet tried these places and can get a feel by checking the menus out. It would be handy though to know which restaurants deliver - since moving to Hertford I've noticed quite a few dont. To save time ringing around a symbol to identify those that deliver or are just takeaway would speed things up. Smart idea though, will definitely be using it in the future. Like you say, simplicity is the key - dont complicate it by offering orders online/fax - it will only get messy, in my opinion.
