Hertford v Ware

1-0. Though a scrappy game by all accounts. Two sendings off & a 21 man brawl swept the pitch iside the first half, with a useless 'referee' (if you can call him that) handling it poorly, whilst all the while ware manager Clemo acted like a bafoon as he always done. As the game progressed, it became apparent us Hertford fans were the only ones making any noise for their team. Wodson park may be an excellent ground, but there's no atmosphere whatsoever! The second half continued much the same as the first, with keepers Cope & Robinson making two crucial saves apiece. But then, deep into injury time, it came. Fresh from his return from the sidelines, Mcewen won a free-kick on the ege of the box. He4 stepped up & blasted the ball down low, which deflected off the base of the wall, crashing into the back of the net! The hertford choir could not take the excitement, &, drunk as they were, they jumped on the pitch in celebration! 1-0 1-0 1-0 1-0 Theres only one Dave Mcewen! ;D Expess yourself!

It is essential for every Hertford choir member to keep their larynx in tip top singing condition during the match, which can only be achieved with the assistance of regular lubrication...'unfortunately' :¬) As for those ware cardboard cut out fans, their silence was deafening!
