roadworks on 414 out towards welwyn?
Hi,
does anyone know what the ominous line of cones and signs are for on the 414 out of hertford?

I think they're just cutting back the undergrowth which has got very overgrown and is impeding visibility, blocking paths etc. Hopefully they will have finished before rush hour.

On Tuesday they were clearing the central reservation of rubbish and tidying up the overgrown grass/bushes etc.,

yes, it looks like that was it - the cones have all gone now. thats a relief!

Cones were out again on Saturday, but this time it was the filtering system for Hatfield House Concert. No wonder they were smartening the verges up!!
