Theres a house I would love in Highfield Road. One in Morgans Road too. That Highfield/Morgans/Queens road triangle can't be beaten. SG13, no flood plain, near to the town, no major traffic problems, huge houses!

Wentworth Road (lived there for five years would love to go back)and as already mentioned Queens and Morgan's rd's. Warren Park Road was always appealing although I'm not so sure after reading about the School traffic on another thread.

The East Side of the Upper section of Queens Rd looking across the fields towards Mangrove Rd. As there are only 20-30 houses in this stretch Its unlikely I'll ever move there.[V] Valley Close very desirable but suffers a little from the Hagsdell-Highfield Rd. Ratrun.

The road I live in now takes some beating. Quiet, good neighbours, nice gardens. Could do with a bit more space but can't have everything can you.

I think every road I've ever lived in has merits and disadvantages. I've sampled Raynham St, Byde St, Molewood Road, West St, Cowbridge and Bengeo St, plus several countryside and metropolitan adresses elsewhere. What made the real greats amongst those were the people around me. If I picked one it would be West St. Hertford's "old money". Relaxed, non-judgemental community who arranged parties together, rather than complaining about each others activities and called at your door with home made biscuits at Christmas. I often wonder how it is now.
